Are local police using Stingray? If so, they have to stop. Not that they would ever follow the law, or anything like that, if it inconvenienced them.

And even more important the decision as 9-0, all justices agreed.
Why would any of us care? We wouldn't have anything incriminating or even questionable on our cell phones, would we ??
Well, forgive me for posting it Schmuck.

But, keep this in mind. It doesn't matter if you're a hobbyist or a provider......cops were able to search your phones for any given reason. One should be aware of their rights no?

Now, don't get crazy, people. They can still get a warrant to get any records of your "phone" transactions.
They can always get a warrant for anything.

Note the page 26 1st paragraph section wherein there's an example of why doughnut eaters can't bitch about the ruling, cause in some jurisdictions badges can already simply e-mail warrant requests directly to a judges handheld.
