repeat visits

I am newish to the hobby (less than a year) and was like a kid in a candy store for many months seeing as many providers as i could. Finally starting to revisit a few at the top of my list. I have to say it's nice to meet with a provider i felt i have really connected with before and am having even more fun and great conversations on these 2nd and 3rd encounters. Just curious what other hobbyists and mainly providers have to say about this. Had a great encounter tonight with the first provider i have seen for the 3rd time that has me pondering this.

There's nothing like the first time, the nerves anticipation and excitement makes it that much more thrilling. Once you start building rapport with each other it makes your time exciting in a different manner. One aspect I like is it makes setting up a date so much easier and faster.

For me, the thrill and anticipation, etc. of the first meeting can be almost be too much (I'm not sure if excitement is the right word or not) Because of that nervousness, I tend to find a few providers I'm comfortable with and visit them more often than visiting many different ones. I think when a situation is new, my anxiety level rises substantially...so after I feel like I "click" with a provider, then that anxious feeling isn't quite so prevalent. Like johnsonted84 said, it also helps build a rapport and creates a level of trust between each other. Have fun and be safe (:

I rarely see a new gal, and the few I do see go back a while. One of which to before this board existed. As you mention, the covno is great. In addition, the gal already knows what you like BCD. In addition to short notice availability (mentioned above), it also leads to broken clocks, and long range schedule comparison. And, if the trust thing works out, you're at the advanced version of GFE.

I love my regular clients. The possibilities are almost endless with them

There is much more to this sub-culture, lifestyle, endeavor, however you want to refer to it, than the average participant finds and explores, for whatever reason. You, lawrencegent, have gone below the surface and discovered one of the many depths and breadths available to those who wish to learn and further their enjoyment.

Regular visits, longer rendezvous, special arrangements, different play time activities, degrees of experimentation (kiky, for lack of a better word), and much more awaits those who seek the extraordinary.

I to like sampling new things. For me that's part of the allure of the hobby. But in truth, I am often (very slightly) disappointed with people that I'm meeting for the first time and end up comparing them to my one or two favorites who I keep going back to.

I would add that the repeater should not have expectations of the same experience as the first visit. It's not fair to either party.
Furthermore, regular is more conducive to an intellectual bond comprised of breadth & depth as opposed to the physicality of narrow & shallow; the hobby allows for quite a range of relations to be formed.

I'm always more nervous with a first meet than excited. Will we click, will it be good...etc. I for one, prefer the repeat visit with someone that I felt a connection with. I can then relax and enjoy the date, as just that, a date.

I think the first time you meet with a client it compares to a meet and greet. Sure it is exciting to meet a new face but it is also nerve wrecking for both parties unsure what they might encounter. In a matter of a few minutes those nerves disappear. I am very fortunate that the largest percentage of my clients come back for a return date. If the sex is amazing the first time it only get better once we get to know each other. I find the excitement is still there but of course I love what I do.
