I have a personal incall but have seen the Arboretum area is one of the better areas.

Oh wow! will you be offering outcalls while you're in town?

Consensus seems to be that the Domain and Arboretum are the most accessible areas with decent hotels, food and shopping.

Here's the semi-official Austin hobby map (courtesy of mrhamm):

Downtown is great but expensive. Arboretum is good if it is in Travis County.

while the Arboretum is nice enough area of town; I'll vote that you buck the trend and stay downtown, if only because I am lazy and want to walk over to meet you.

you're right! It is easy for me to say Of course she'll end up in the Aurbor, but a boy can dream of a nice cocktail at the bar, and a slow elevator ride to her suite... as apposed to another crosstown trip to an extended stay in the NW corner of town.

Never understood why the ladies book the extended stay paces if they're only visiting a few nights. There's good mid-budget hotels in North Austin. Of course if the lovely lady who began this thread is coming this weekend, I'm not sure what rooms will be like for the holiday weekend.
