Laphroaig 18 yr hard to find but rated 99. For blended scotch hard to beat JW Blue. My choice to pair it would by a monte cristo #4. Used to be a cigar bar around the corner from the office when I lived in NYC....great place to wind down. They had 100's of different scotches to try....problem was being its manhattan damn expensive.
Loved it tho...
Personally, I want my smoke in the scotch!

Currently obsessed with Oban 14. Light enough on the peat that even grassy Speyside fans can't turn up their nose.
Liga Privada #9 or perhaps the L40. As for the scotch, there's not one I haven't liked yet, but on the rocks is how I like them served. Occasionally I'll go for a sweet Drambuie.

I'm now endeavoring to pair the right type of cigar with the right type of lady based on age, race, body type, etc. ....a bit of a challenge but a fun thought.

Thanks all for your input. Will definitely work on these Combos...

Has anyone ever tried the Dalmore Cigar Malt ? I have not and heard there are a couple of bottles in New Braunfels Specs...only thing that stops is a 50 mile drive and the cost, $120/bottle..

I like the Ghurka as well, although the first one that I had made my head spin for a while.

I prefer good maduros.

Perdomo 20th Anniversary

Rocky Patel The Edge

PDR 1878 was particularly good

San Cristobal Elegante. OhMy!

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero. 5*

Not a scotch guy, Scot or Irish, I prefer American Rye Whiskies, favorite currently Pepper's 1776.

And our Angel27 seems to be full of surprises, I'm hoping to talk her into springing one or two upon me soon.

so why not find a few more providers that enjoy a cigar and lets get together at a cigar lounge and enjoy our company....cept we cant drink at them can we ? Is the Broadway 50-50 stil cigar friendly ? AH Lion and Rose ?

I do wish we had a covered gazebo available for 'adult' discussions and enjoyment.

Bring our own coolers/beverages/cigars.

I would like to think there are a few females that would join in for bullshitting and beverages.

The only places that come to my mind are military installations where some difficulties with access arise.

Golf clubhouses frown on outside beverages and food, apartment clubhouses, no cigar smoking inside and rugrats surrounding the pool outside.

Hmmm, requires pondering.

Centralist location for driving.

I do wish we had an icon for pondering.

Alamo Heights Lion and Rose... Cigar friendly (bring your own) but must buy drinks. Fincks in Helotes buy cigars and lounge is byob.... Also I believe club humidor on thousand oaks has a big lounge with pool tables, tv's etc.. That is byob friendly...

Macallen 18 and a Jose Seija... Not too bad..
