Modern liberalism in the United States?

I guess you mean socialism. A classic liberal believes in small government, rights to the citizen, rugged individualism. Our founders were classic liberals and today they would be called fascists by the real fascists of our times. What is fascism? Glad you asked Deb. It is a governmental system wherein the government controls private enterprise for "the good of the people". Take Boeing, they build a factory in the south and were ready to start moving workers in but the Obama administration stopped that by stacking (illegally it turns out) the National Labor Board who told Boeing that they would not allow it. Government telling business what to do and how to do it. Fascism, plain and simple. There is your modern liberal Deb. A fascist-socialist regime......where have I heard that before?
