I'll be moving to an area soon that is a barren wasteland as far as eccie is concerned and would like to know the difference between account disabled ie: chancesawyer and guest062714 ie: JJ.
Why do either? You might actually make it to a big city sometime. What difference does it make if you just don't log on?

they'll guest your account if they believe your privacy has been threatened or this threat of being outed.
if you guest your account, someone can come along and take your username.
so if you guest your account and your account appears as guest080514
some other dude can create an account the next day as : SAUrbanAnimal
and you can't get that username back.
Disabling takes place when there is a need to cancel an account, usually by request. In other words, the username/account is frozen and closed.
Guesting takes place when there is a need to wipe away traces of a particular username, only for privacy and security reasons
Disabling preserves the username should the member wish to return to it in the future and reactivate their account here.
Guesting releases the username from ownership of the account holder. Not only is their account frozen and canceled, but the handle changed to a guest handle which could allow someone else (anyone) to come along at a later date and register with that username.
