A story is out that John Elway and a partner got scammed for $15 mil.
Ponzi scheme from a Hedge Fund.
As a die hard Chiefs fan I am having a hard time feeling sympathy as he broke my heart many times.
15m is not loss I would wish on many people. Like him or hate him, think you'll agree, watching him was fun, unless you were on the opposing defense. Remember game week with the broncs, who was the one we all talked about? He did make for some great games with the Chiefs. How about the Monday night game between him an Montana? Who can forget all the times he was flushed out of the pocket? Admit it, you held your breath wondering if he was going to run or wing it about 50 yards not down the field, but across the field. I would take him over Favre in his prime anyday.

it is wrong no matter who got taken. i just hope it wasn't all his assets so he's not left broke like so many of the victims of Madoff.
