Retiring

Can we put a requirement that if a provider wants to retire she has to put a date and on that date her account becomes disabled.

These retiring girls are like the furniture that has been going out of business for 20 years.

Just make a decision. I do not see girls that are retiring, if I want to go back they will be gone (maybe).
I think the OP is just irritated at the marketing tactic some providers choose to utilize. I can see how saying one is retiring just to drive up business can make the client feels like his strings are being attempted to be pulled through deceptive advertising...

I think as much as wise shoppers have figured out that the frequent (usually furniture stores) "going out of business" or almost monthly "best sale ever" types of advertising, so have hobbyists and providers.

The ignore button (not the LMIB button) can be your best friend.

When a provider announces a "final tour" or a retirement, imo those who know "the game" do what they need to do.

Travelerman, you almost caused my heart to skip a beat when I saw your bare

"Retiring"

in the new thread list.....

I thought maybe you had decided to hang up your spur (spurs?).

Dang it man, don't do that to me!

LMAO CK, that is priceless. Sorry! Did not mean to do that.

I could never retire. I am having way too much fun. Only in America can we have have a website where we see the buffet of ladies, then we can choose which door to knock on.

I love it when the guys/male clients announce retirement.

Its like as if they did some sort of "work" while they were trying to get laid and then they return from "retirement" as well.

Rarely does anyone ever leave this gig permanently, they just go UTR until they're comfortable to return back.

Its a woman's prerogative to change her mind. Its a guy's prerogative to not understand why women do what they do. Disabling an account will just cause her to come back under a new name. RW and Hobby World realities.
they could just say its for their boyfriend becuase thats probally why alot do it. and then they break up and she comes back.
when my lovebug comes back i may kind of fade away, but will probably be back lol. i <3 Eccie.
Yup!!
I just disappear, as well, Sarah.
....come & go....
I see no need to make an announcement.
If youre leaving and never coming back....just go lol
I think travelers is on to something

1). I don't want people trying to look me up wondering if I'm still around or not.
2). There are many people who've told me they "want" to know when I retire.
3). There are probably many more who probably "want" to know but haven't told me yet.
4). And those who've been wanting to meet but just need a slight reminder that they need to move me near the top of their playlist if they've ever want to meet or their Tia fantasy will be gone gone gone.

I am frustrated myself about the ones who mention they are gone and then come back again right away and continually.

But you need to keep this in mind that not all of them are using the RETIRING idea just for profit.

Some DO retire and intend on staying retired but:
A). It's hard to get a job in the civilian world that pays bills when you don't have any education.
B). It's hard to get a job in the civilian world "period" and thus they need to come back to make ends meet.
C). They wanted to retire their previous persona and thus they needed to make a formal announcement so that no one would keep asking where they are. They then come back under a new name.

Just keep in mind that if I "DO" retire myself...and I end up coming back, it's probably going to be for reasons A & B. Not because I wanted to deceive anyone with marketing tactics.
