San Antonio Restaurant Week 2014

Hello!

I hope you have been enjoying San Antonio Restaurant Week. It started on the 16th and it ends on the 23rd. Each participating restaurant has a special chef-created menu (usually a 3-course menu) at an excellent value: $15 for lunch/person, $35 dinner/person. Food trucks are also participating! "Restaurant Week on The Move": $8 lunch and $15 dinner

If you have been visiting some of the wonderful venues, which ones have you enjoyed the best? For me, hands absolutely down was "Restaurant Gwendolyn". OMG! What a gem!!

Here is a list of participating restaurants: http://culinariasa.org/san-antonio/restaurant-week/

Enjoy!!

I recommend Chez Vatel if you have not visited yet.
And Tui Steppi for their pasta dishes.

I wish I knew about this... >.<
I never read sandbox threads but this one was awesome - thanks for the list. I had no clue about this

Excellent information....Thanks for posting this Camille. I want to try as many of these as I can this week.
I found this to be a great list to branch out of the same ol same ol, even after the week is over. There are so many places I've never even heard of!

Tried Hot Joy this week.

Hot damn. The place was just featured in Bon Appetit and it was packed (in part) as a result. Well worth the wait, though. I lived on Ramen in college, but never imagined it could be elevated the way they do it at Hot Joy. Well worth a visit if you find yourself near King William.
