Is the death of Сергей Клюка (Sergei Klyuka) suicide or was he "suicided"?

Why I posted it here was this rather good comment from Woody:

It amazes me just how non-educated the general public is of the energy sector. Noticed I said Energy and not Petroleum or Oil Company? Originally Posted by Woody of TX

So, you don’t like the NYT or the WSJ, but you do read Pravda? Very impressed, mi amigo.

For the record, I’d bet he was murdered. Like Macksback said, “It’s Russia.”; and two, how can the gun be laying on the seat if he shot himself. I’d think it would be in his hand or thrown across the car or something.

Haven't been around much lately so perhaps the poll question is a continuation of...or a goof on another thread. And, I certainly can't understand Russian.

Absent deeper understanding on my part with regard to either of those points, I don't "get" why the story warrants a poll question.

Is this a "stalking horse" to re-visit Vince Foster???
Of course he was murdered. It's Russia. It's GAZPROM (one of the world's most opaque 'legal' organizations). Given the track record that the Russian business world has of of settling disputes the old-fashioned way (e.g., the Forbes editor a while back, all the journalists, etc.), suicide appears to be only a remote possibility. Of course, you could say that in a way he did commit suicide: he obviously pissed off somebody he shouldn't have.

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
