While we are on the subject!
The best ribs I've ever had were in Tulsa and when I asked what made them so good, the woman told me they were "St. Louis style ribs" which she said meant the pork ribs come from the front of the animal, instead of the back.
They are fattier.
But I went to a couple other BBQ places (in California and Washington so it almost doesn't count) and they said that all "St Louis style" means is how they are slow cooked.
Anyway, anyone know where to get some in Dallas?
Pecan Lodge is generally regarded as the best in Dallas. I saw one rating that put it in the top 10 in the State. Very good, but not in the same league as the Central Texas places.
