Shreveport - Bossier Questions.. Please

Just Wondering which days are best to go to Shreveport. Seems I always pick the worst days to come.. Only days I can next week are either Monday or Tuesday???.. But any other weeks I can either Mon, Tues or Wednesday. ...??
Also, is Shreveport or Bossier the better choice???
Or is there a middle area that would be easier for shreveport and bossier ppl???
