Question about deactivating/reactivating account

Hey mods I have a inquiry about account status changes. Are we allowed to deactivate an account for awhile and then reactivate it. I want to take a break for a few months from the hobby but not necessarily quit altogether. I juust want some time to improve some personal things before I partake again. However, I will admit visiting this site is addicting and visiting leads to temptation to hobby so the course of action I'm asking about is to help me in gaining more self control.
