I'm not sure about the specific sites on the Eccie ads, but I read an article about a year ago about one of the more popular sites dedicated to hooking up with people that just want sex and it was mostly bogus. Many of the women's profiles were made-up and used photos grabbed off the internet. Most of the sites are free to sign up, but charge you to exchange messages. Well they entice you into joining by sending you scads of automatically generated robo-messages from the fake profiles. They're quite clever too, they'll hit you with fake profiles that show they are in areas near you and may even key in on words you post in your profile to make them sound legit. So yeah, buyer beware.

I have a profile on AFF, but the women I pull there aren't worth the trouble. Even though it's a sex site, you have to do a lot of back and forth messaging just to set something up. It's so much easier to meet women in real life just going about your business. I made the mistake of giving a chick on AFF my cell, now she blows it up with nonsense. I've also been spoiled by seeing escorts for so long, that most of the women there really don't do it for me.
