Lately I had a smell coming from me I couldn't explain it but i was terrified honestly thought it was std related. Went to a clinic and got my results back a week after and negative for everything Thank God. It wasn't bacteria either. They explained to me may be my products since I became a provider my hygiene has been at it highest I may take it a little too far I have all the summers eve products wipes, douches, deoderant spray (for down there),summers eve wash I have it all. And anti bacteria soap. Well I think I may have been killing good bacteria. I've always been really senstive down there even latex irritates me but I still use latex condoms and water based lube. But I know a few women have problems with Smell I just wanted to say always get tested regularly and if its not std or bacteria related. Try VH essentials probiotic plus & cranberry capsules they sell them Otc at Wal-Mart it balances your ph balance. And my smell completely went away and I will slow down on my products if it doesn't work go to a gynecologist it could be another problem. I hope I helped someone. And always stay hydrated

Well; let us have a little discussion of microbiology.
Yeast, and bacteria and other microbes can live in different worlds
most body bacteria have the best growth at 7 to 8
A lot of the yeasts grow best at other pH
e.g. Algae grow best at about pH 8 - 9
The growth can overlap
Yeast for fermentation of alcohol produces both alcohol and vinegar depending upon the temperature and pH of the growth media. Yeast growth in the vagina is a common problem that has been known for as far back as the ancients. (described, not identified until later).
So, it is a good guess that you have a yeast problem because the pH is not balanced. If all of the bacteria are killed, something else will come back to replace them; such as yeast or mold. Probiotics just add beneficial bacteria back.
The ears can be more prone to grow mold after taking strong antibiotics , it kills the bacteria OK but my ears start to grow the fungal types associated with moist warn conditions.
Hope that helps.
