Ladies. Can we please stop with the perfume

For some reason some providers like to put on the purfume. Some a lot more than others. My preference is no purfume at all. A nice clean shower smell is much better than chemicals in a bottle. Wearing purfume is for other ladies. Not men. What do you prefer?

Just giving you a hard time, I get your point.

I can see why some guys would need to worry about bringing home "the sent of a woman" Personally I like the sent of a nice perfume, it's the little feminine details that I enjoy. (I also like candles and good champagne for those keeping track) I wouldn't go so far as to dictate a fragrance, but if there choice was truly offensive I may make mention of it before a second visit (assuming that I wasn't scared off by the foul stench of "ode de' hooker" )

I have a pretty ready out for the "scent" problem. It's already well established with the SO that there are some women in the building who douse themselves in the elevator -- so much so that you can still smell it an hour later. Sometimes the smell clings to you when you leave. The SO has been here to bear witness to this phenomenon, so sometimes a little feminine smell can clear the smell test. Or I tell her I went to Sugars' for happy hour. She doesn't have a real issue with that.
I like to grab a shower after and am always disappointed when I don't see non scented soap available. Just some generic ivory soap is handy to have on hand. And I know, their smell on the clothes is probably what op is talking about. Always have spair t shirt handy to wear into appointment.

I personally do like a little perfume on a lady, but not enough for me to go home with perfume on my shirt. Ladies, leave the glitter makeup and the perfume in the drawer please!

If you do nibble on my ears, please make sure you look me over before I leave!

Three thirty in the morning
Not a soul insight
The city's lookin' like a ghost town
On a moonless summer night
Raindrops on the windshield
There's a storm moving in
He's headin' back from somewhere
That he never should have been

And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls

Every light is burnin'
In a house across town
She's pacin' by the telephone
In her faded flannel gown
Askin' for miracle
Hopin' she's not right
Prayin' it's the weather
That's kept him out all night
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls

The thunder rolls
And the lightnin' strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls

She's waitin' by the window
When he pulls into the drive
She rushes out to hold him
Thankful he's alive
But on the wind and rain
A strange new perfume blows
And the lightnin' flashes in her eyes
And he knows that she knows

And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls

The thunder rolls
And the lightnin' strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls

[3rd Verse:]
She runs back down the hallway
To the bedroom door
She reaches for the pistol
Kept in the dresser drawer
Tells the lady in the mirror
He won't do this again
Cause tonight will be the last time
She'll wonder where he's been
What about other non-perfume related scents that may cross over? I'm thinking lotions or lube, and maybe some make-ups.

I voted a little, but it's more complicated than that. With perfume as with cologne, less is more. But it has to be good fragrance. Bad perfume is worse than none at all. And I won't opine on which are pleasantly aromatic for the same reason I'm not going to tell anyone how to dress; evaluating someone's sense of style provides a litmus test of her or his aesthetic instincts. I want to know what a woman really thinks is stylish, not what she thinks I find her attractive in, at least until I get to know her.

I prefer a little and have requested that before when booking. I understand the reasons not to wear any.

Why do you start a poll asking for preferences but title the thread "can we please stop with the perfume"?
