celso I looked at your list and one place that I know of is missing that is if anyone cares. Nov 17 at ponderosa free buffet and drink. I have seen the flier for it as an insert in my local paper.

I usually just lay low on Veteran's day. Some guys are into the recognition, some are not. To each his own. I prefer to remain anonymous.

The older vets, particularly the draftees who were unwilling participants and IMO deserve a little more thanks than those of my generation who were all volunteers.
