Thank you, ladies. I'm a Viet Nam era veteran of the US Air Force. After spending a year and a half in the panhandle of Florida, I submitted a volunteer statement to serve in Viet Nam. The Air Force, in their infinite wisdom, responded by sending me to England for the final two years of my service. Oh well, at least the British ladies had a real fondness for us Yanks. LOL!!

I, too, am a veteran of the USAF, as well as many other people. I feel good about that aspect of my life whenever Veterans Day rolls around. I appreciate all that the military men and women do/have done for our country! And I am proud to have served for the 6 years that I did.

@Stimulate.... I was supposed to be stationed at Travis AFB and I got diverted to KS. I never even went anywhere during my time served!! Lol.
