The season kicks off tonight. It's just an exhibition game against Washburn, but it's a welcome break from KU football.
Josh Selby still isn't cleared to play, although he was deemed eligible academically his amateur status is still in question and reports are saying that it won't be sorted out until mid to late November.
But, the AP preseason poll has the Jayhawks ranked 7th, so it's not all bad news.
