Here we go again....Dammit all to hell....

Well....as some of you know I totaled my Jeep back in May of this year. I played hard so that I could get a new car and I reached my goal and got my car. Well, I was sold a lemon and now 3 months later, my engine is about to blow up.

So, on that note, does anyone know any good used car lots that will take payments WITHOUT being financed? Or is my head in the clouds on that thought?
Hi! When U say "about" 2 blow --- have U had a mechanic confirm your suspicions?? May not b as bad as U think. If I didn't live so far from KC I would gladly try 2 B of more help! Don't give up. Would a donation on my part help U out any? If so you may PM me for details......

Try to find an engine at a salvage yard. Or find a decent buy here pay here lot.
It's the valve cover gasket and one of the lifters may be stuck. I just hate to drop $250 in the engine w no guarantee that that's the problem. So far I've had 3 ppl look at it but they can't tell if the knock is on top or bottom....hehehe that sounds sooo dirty! Pervi little me

And why are you guys talking about me. I have nothing to do with this thread.
Just because I fixed another providers car, and she skipped out on the deal.
At least I do help.

Well, ya might try this: No guarantee but, cost much less than replacing the motor. Change your oil & filter with a reputable brand of 100% Synthetic oil. Synthetic oil has salvaged several engines for me over the years. Your cost will be 50 bucks or so, but if it works this oil is good for up 2 15,000 miles. Good luck sweetheart hope to meet U some day!
A good seafoam treatment can fix a sticky lifter. It wont fix a leaky valve gasket.... But if you are looking at 250 for that it is a lot better than making payments... A good mechanic should be able to evaluate the overall health of the engine to see if it is worth fixing. If the engine has good compression and isn't leaking coolant or burning oil it might just need a tune up and oil change.
