Hey guys, so I have arrived in Des Moines and was wondering what things that there are to do. Also, if anyone could recommend any good restaurants that would be great!

For dining, I would recommend the Latin King at Hubbell and East University. Great steaks and Italian cuisine.
For things to do, my vice is Prairie Meadows Casino, located in the suburb of Altoona on the east edge of Des Moines. I will be there Wednesday evening and am looking for a reason to stay overnight at their hotel. I hope that is enough of a hint.
