Ive been told that I should come to lake Charles and Ive heard many good things. so, I'm planning a trip. Can't wait to visit for the first time.

Can anyone recommend a good part of town to host in for Lake Charles? I'm visiting this weekend and have no idea where to stay. Does it matter? I just usually go for the nicest hotel on town or whatever for small towns and such...
