Hobbying During The Holidays

For a lot of guys, this is probably the most stressful time to hobby....and really the time you need it the most.

Late next week marks the beginning of the holiday madness and for many, the time when you hobby the least.

For the next month and a half, regulars for me....with the occasional visiting lady.

What's your plan?

My plan is to be here and see the people who have prebooked their very own HOliday party with me

I love seeing a gentlemen get what HE WANTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

My plan is to catch up with friends and familiy I do not see on a regular basis, whether it be because life keeps us busy or because they are in town for the holidays. There is gonna be some fun nights out, especially the night before Thanksgiving and NYE. End of year means work will be slow too.

I find November and December to be a busy time for hobbying. I think it is because many can say they are out shopping for gifts and they don't have to account for $$ as much.

January when the credit card bills come rolling in is when I find it to be a bit slower.

I agree that it's a busy, stressful time of year. But for me personally, it may be the time of year when I actually have the most availability to get away and do some mongering.

For those of us with spouses/SO's, it can often be difficult to get away. The holidays give you a built-in excuse, though. "Yeah honey, I'm going Christmas shopping! See you in a couple hours or so."

Yes, I'll have a very busy schedule over the holidays but I'm always looking for an opportunity to enjoy the holidays and give myself a pleasurable gift.

I don't plan on doing anything for the holidays this year other than staying home and entertaining gents that could use some company.

I do agree that December is lovely because shopping is the perfect excuse and easy to hide the funds.

January can be kind of rough but the months afterwards make up for it.
