the Breakfast of champions

Hello folks.

What's a good late breakfast locale in wichita? I don't do fastfood. Location within 1hr travel is fine.
Also if you know there specialty its a plus.
It will be a weekend thing so hopefully they would be open right.
Any info much appreciated.

Are you talking about 'after bar hours' late or...

10am-11am... Hopefully.. I just need to stay away from the fastf joints.. And for whatever reason I don't recall ever eating anywhere there..

Riverside Cafe is pretty good.

There are many good places in Wichita but it depends on you are into.

I am always a fan of local business and try to spend my hard earned cash with folks that live in my community or at least in my country.

In the ICT there are many good local places to eat breakfast.

In no specific order....
Jimmy's diner 21st & rock
antie mays west of central and Tyler
egg crate on 13th & Tyler
town & country w. Kellogg
copper oven w. 13th
dons on s. Broadway

Riverside & Doo dah are also awesome

and you will never go hungry at Fat Ernie's, their breakfast is good but their dinner is full tilt...

If you want to go with corporate America
VI =Vllage Inn is always good
Jimmy's eggs all over town
crackle barrel fucking rocks all over this great land....

I tried Doodids. No favorite yet. They were really good though. I was trying for the support your local hole thang, guy needs to be active there. Thanks all of you that chimed in.

I hope to sample Aspen,and Auntie Maes this weekend.See which B&G is more satisfying.

This past weekend Auntie Maes won the B&G taste test over Town and Country.Town and Country had a bigger plate full,but had an over whelming butter taste,and don't remember ever chewing any sausage.I like to taste the sausage.Auntie Maes was the same price,with an egg on top.I substituted sausage instead of the egg,so they cut up a sausage patty into the gravy.

Also,Angel won the B&G over Susan.The two ladies i tried to contact didn't answer there phones,so i went to a place of business where i knew someone was wanting the business.Aggravates me that my money went to China,but what is a guy to do?
