BOFFINS have made the world's first film of what goes on inside a woman's brain during orgasm.

What women want ... scan shows female brain impulses during orgasm

The startling footage shows 30 different parts of the grey matter lighting up in ecstasy so powerful it can stop a woman feeling PAIN.
Neuroscientists videoed eight women who were asked to lie inside MRI body scanners and then stimulate themselves.
Most reached orgasm in under five minutes - although some took nearly 20 minutes.

Faker ... Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally

The scientists asked the "guinea pigs" to raise their hands when they reached arousal - and some did several times in 15 seconds.

Researchers also found that waves of pleasure - - famously faked by Meg Ryan in 1989 movie When Harry Met Sally - are so strong the nervous system starts to shut down. This makes women less aware of pain.
Prof Barry Komisaruk of New Jersey's Rutgers University, who led the study, said: "Orgasm is a unique process which takes over the whole brain and can be felt all over the body."
He hopes his research will lead to treatment for the one in seven women who cannot reach sexual climax.
His team also hopes to investigate the male brain to see if women really do have longer and deeper orgasms.
The film of the experiment will premiere at Neuroscience 2010, a conference starting on Saturday in San Diego, California.

Very interesting. I know if I have a really bad headache, an orgasm actually relieves the pain. I never could use that "I have a headache" excuse!! Thats when I WANTED it the most!! lol
