Having lived in places like Irving and other bible belt towns where people get arrested just for showing up at an appointment San Antonio is actually a huge relief.
As long as you don't solicit the police here will not arrest you. So those of us here who are supposed to know what we're doing shouldn't be grumbling.
It could be a whole lot worse, and we should be thankful that the local vice are actually following the law, which permits us to hobby.
Try hobbying in a place where the cops don't follow the law.
It's impossible.

Uhhh..yeah on this particular bust there was a very poor return on investment. This time. However, they don't strike-out all that often.
But that's what VICE does--go after certain types of crimes. VICE is a police division which focuses on moral crimes such as gambling, narcotics, pornography, the sex trade, and illegal sales of alcohol, in contrast with crimes like fraud, murder, and so forth.
So yeah, there are certainly "real" crimes being committed and needing attention, VICE deals with the ones their squad was assigned to do.
