Actually, it appears that:
The Republican controlled House KNEW the Democratically controlled Senate would not approve a funding bill with the restriction in it, so the Republican Controlled House passed the measure, KNOWING that in less than a month, AND BEFORE spending would begin of any consequence, if any, the Republican controlled House could pass a measure prohibiting the spending that would be passed by the NOW Republican controlled Senate.
Politics and Legislative maneuvering is a BITCH ... Just ask LBJ when you see him!
Or ask Nancy Pleaseosi when you see her ....
...... she'll be the ugly one by herself over in the corner whining and scowling.

Ted Cruz's advice to all of the freshmen members is to do what you said you would do in October.
It is no wonder there is so much apathy among voters, and more so among those that choose not to vote, because all have become jaded by the constant lies of those running for and achieving office. In the real world it would be called fraud, but hey, this is just our government.

The GOP leadership is lying to the American electorate who voted them into majority positions..................the ir PR plan is to look conservative, but use legislative trickery to do otherwise. They want more power; and want a Chamber of Commerce GOP candidate to win the presidency in 2016. They want a Jeb Bush....A big government, big business guy !
