What IS UP with The Size Of the Bud Bugs??

So when I come to Monroe in Crawfish season I always make a stop at Coney Islands get a dozen of them their Jumbo Shrimp seasoned just perfect and a couple pounds of them their MUD BUGS..last year the size was like a mini lobster last night they were so little could barely peel them back.

Whats going on I am so sad about it.

Between March and May are when we get the largest ones around here. As a guy who was raised eating crawfish, I must admit that every time I go to Coney Island, I get the shrimp. Sacrilege! I can spend an hour eating crawfish and never get full....only get a burning mouth, lol.

I had a friend go down on a girl after a night of beer and crawfish. Needless to say, she got way hotter down there than usual - and not in a good way!

so what your saying is. They need to stay in the warm water a little longer and they WILL GROW....!

I never even start looking at crawfish until mid march.

well little crawfish are better than none at all....i dont have the pleasure of living to streets from Coney Island ..Its a good thing to..That damn jumbo shrimp would keep me fat
