Coming to NYC -Anything helps!

Hello everybody. I am going to NYC for the first time to work, after working in Vegas and Texas. Wondering if anybody has been there that may have a word of advice, or anything. I will be staying in Manhattan, and probably post on BP as well as other forums. I appreciate it!
