When i moved to Houston about 12 years ago i could not believe the scene here. I had moved from an area that was very strict on policing and you were always worried that you will get busted even while seeing independents.

Proper, it is about at this time in this thread that I expect someone who wasn't around the hobby 10 or so years ago, to pipe up and tell us to shut the fuck up about the good ole days. It always happens.
These days, yeah there are a lot of good providers. But, I mainly hobby on weekends. I'm not into high dollar hotties, but I have no problem shelling out three or four hundred a week if I find a provider that appeals to me. Seven or eight years ago, I had no problem picking from dozens of women that actually appealed to me and had decent reviews. These days, I can't count the number of times I have browsed my favorite sites, and just thought, "Fuck It." I'll wait until something better comes along.
