Beer

So guys and gals, I like beer, who doesn't? I have noticed that the price of rolling rock is cheap. I use to drink it about ten years ago and it was average price of Budweiser. Now it's cheap as hell. Been on a binge jk but been drinking it. Any one know why the price is cheap. Cheers boys
Could be that the brand was sold to Anheuser-Busch in 2006. Other than that, not sure why.

But it's good beer man, if we ever should meet at a bar I'll buy a round of brews and a shot of crown sir
Oh I know it's good. Have had it a few times. The Angry Video Game Nerd is also a huge fan of the beer as it is featured in all of his video reviews. Take a look if you want a good laugh.

I agree, it's just one of the few beers that I like that are brewed here in the states.

Odd statement, I think America is cutting edge on craft beers
Rolling Rock gives me headaches, almost as bad as I used to get from Shitz Malt Liquor. I have no idea why.

Here the thing about Rolling Rock, I used to buy it buy by the case wholesale about $24 3/4 years ago. I loved that beer very much but recently bought a six pack not too long ago and it tasted different. I noticed then remembered it was bought by ABINBEV who owns bud Weiser probably the biggest beer co. Worldwide. So when they bought it they also make it now in St Louis not in Pennsylvania where it was originally from. It's a true bummer! Still my motto is if it's in a green bottle chances are likely it's very good. Hence: DOS XX,Heineken, Bass, Tsingtau, Lowenbrau ( was my favorite but can't find it anywhere), Peroni, Stella Artois, Hollandia, Grolsch, & 1664 from france. Try them & thank me later.
Probably the same reason that pbr, lonestar, and pearl used to be cheap and now cost more at times. Just how the beer cycle works. Today's cheap beer will be tomorrow's costlier one

Just to go back to rolling rock discussion, once purchased by the bigger co. They own it now & pretty much can do what they want with it unless contractual agreement is set. More than likely the process & recipe has changed usually cheaper method to get back investment quicker. It's sucks so much they did that because I would drink that beer like water. So ladies & gents I encourage to go to Gabriels, specs, central market, and gamble a little with your next selection. Quality sometimes comes with a price. Don't be afraid to spend $9/10 for a six pack.
