I was at the game today and until the TD from Cassel to Bowe in the fourth quarter it felt a lot closer than the score indicated. But on the whole this was a workmanlike win with the Chiefs defeating a team they should beat.
The Good
The running game was back, although in a sort of feast-or-famine way. Some big runs, but too many 1-2 yard gains. But I'll take a 5.5 yard per carry average however it comes.
Cassel to Bowe is finally starting to look like a dangerous combination.
The defense didn't give up a touchdown until the last play of the game.
The Bad
The defense wasn't really as good as the scoreboard looked; if Kurt Warner were still the Cardinals' QB this would have been a very different game.
The Ugly
I don't have anything to put here. This was a very solid game overall without any glaring mistakes.
