Is seeing a prostitue who is not married a sin?

In the bible a married or non married temple prostitue is a sin and a married prostitute is a sin so is an unmarried non temple prostitute a sin?

This gets me to thinking that there could be some connection between this and seeing a man hanging around a prostitutes incall?
There is no God....
and ergo no such thing as sin.

In todays sociaty, just living or being alive is a sin.

There is a significant amount of evidence Jesus was married to a whore and that it was covered up.

If you are a prophet it is not a sin.

Very thought provoking. Jesus was married; or at least he had children. Mary and Joseph had other children also.
I don't really think God cares if we are married or not when we have sex. The Bible was written by man and man is fallible. Also, there are many other Gospels that have been left out by the Catholic Church when constructing the bible. Also, the original meaning of it has been lost in the several translations that we have now. Who knows what was truly written. Words could have been switched. Sentences put together from missing pieces. We truly do not know.

I used to be friends with an ex-priest. He talked a lot about the original intent of what became the Bible and what the church is now.

Priests only have to stay celibate because the church didn't want them begetting sons that could inherit church property. He was also a big proponent that Jesus's teaching superseded and replaced the original covenant of the Ten Commandments.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment” (Matthew 22:37–38). “And the second [commandment] is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

So under this theory.....homosexuality is not a sin, prostitution is not a sin, swinging is not a sin....

So to answer your question according to a former priest seeing any prostitute is not a sin. The sin would be in harming your wife by not practicing safe sex and bringing home something harmful to your wife. It would be in letting her find out and hurting her emotionally. It would be in allowing your physical connection with another to shake your commitment to support and cherish your own wife.

Within the ten commandments, thou shall not commit adultery (here..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thou_sh...ommit_adultery), explains "Christian Churches view adultery as sexual relations in which at least one participant is married to someone else. According to the Genesis narrative, marriage is a union established by God:."

So I would think based on the definition or commandment, swinging is a sin in the eyes of the christian church as well as seeing married women/prostitutes. Or in hindsight women/prostitutes seeing married men.

As far as homosexuality, there are a number of verses explaining it to be a sinful act within the bible. http://www.openbible.info/topics/homosexuality

In answering the OP question, if neither party is married, there is no sin from what I can gather. In turn, based on these findings, there is a highway to hell and we're on it.
