P411's new policies and pricing changes to enforce said policies... Good, bad, indifferent?

I am sure all of the ladies have encountered the new policies in having to rework pulled down ads and gentlemen have had to deal with the lack of posted menus... Now, come the increases in ad posting rates, "said" to enforce the new guidelines by making the ladies feel the violations in their purses.

Every business is free to implement any business plan they like and I understand the reason given for all of the changes. (Even though I might not agree with all of them.) Every potential consumer is also free to turn away from any business they like. I am just curious about the opinions of the sites clients, on both ends of the hobby. Good, bad or indifferent? Ladies, will this cause you to utilize the site less or stop posting at all? Is it cost effective for you, or just a pain in the ass? Gentlemen, does the hassle of no menu posted cause you to use it less? If less ladies are posting, due to rate increases, will that cause you to stop using it or use it less? Premium access users, will this cause you to stop paying for access? Do you think the changes will help the site in it's goal to avoid notice and follow the path of Redbook, or is it just a matter of time?
To me, this is the cost of doing business. In our industry, in comparison with other services, the cost of advertising is really small in relation to profit. We are blessed with a lot of free or low priced ads because the client is bearing the majority of the cost. The more candy we post, the more clients the site gets, the more money we make.

P411 has achieved a point in which they can charge for advertising because of the value of service they provide to escorts. Simple. AND the more regulation an industry has, the more expensive it gets because someone needs to take the time to check and make sure the regs are being followed. That's what's happening with p411. With the new regs on sexual language, the more they have to monitor so they don't get shut down. Someone needs to do it and they need to get paid for it.

I don't think anyone is really going to leave p411 over the additional charges.

I used to like checking providers menus on their p411 profiles, but cant see the menus anymore. Thought maybe if I joined, I could access the menus again. Anybody know if the menus are viewable if you join? I dont look at the P411 profiles as often as I used to now that the menus aren't visible.

Much like Jed's comment above this one, many clients have voiced annoyance over the menu issue and told me that they have either used the site less or stopped using it.

I believe that, due to the change in Canadian law, all of the policy and rate changes were necessary. While the changes were necessary, the combination could have a positive or negative impact in the site.

Jed - No, the menu that you would be looking for is completely gone. It has been replaced with a more politically correct menu list that most clients do not find useful.

Consider that there are multiple sites out there with a raft of varying allowances most "researchers" can usually figure out what is or might be on the "menu." Not all of these sites are visible on Google which means semi-lazy researchers are left in the dark.

If P411 is the place to get verified and post, then they can get away with charging premium rates. Seems in SA most providers like the service P411 offers. But, if they piss off enough people with high rates, then they will go elsewhere. It's really up to the providers to band together and demand lower rates. If P411 doesn't budge, take your business elsewhere. TER maybe? IMHO, there isn't much to choose from on P411.

I'm not bothered by the lack of menu on P411. I mainly have it just to be verified by providers. If I want to know about your menu I can just ask you. As far as them going the way of redbook, I don't think they will.... RB's owners got cocky and started way to much side crap that put them under the magnifying glass. The socials were also blatantly obvious and folks used it to hook up. They would have been fine if they didn't try to push the boundaries to squeeze every drip of profit through I'll gains.

Being based in Canada they can be more open than is possible in the US and they are very careful to stay within the confines of Canadian law!

I'm not a P411 member but I did like them having the menu option in the past. Made it easy to see if my desires matched the services of those I had an interest.

Always check ECCIE reviews but I have to go through a few to actually get a bearing on what is offered. I have always hated the email/pm dance of inquiring about the menu options.

This could potentially add business for the ladies too.

As dudes now may need to hit up girls via PM's to find menu.

I have not used my P411 in like forever!!

Ladies could always copy their menu and PM themselves so that when on the phone it's easy to PM back the complete menu.
Am I wrong? I thought there was no cost to a provider to have an account, thus a listing! The costs are associated to having pics uploaded, visiting or prefered listings etc.

Personally, I'm reluctant to see a provider who doesn't have a listing, pics or not! And, I look for discounts for members. Why, my profile saves time (thus money) in screening.

I don't care to discuss anything by PM or text. I just read the reviews, if I see a potential match I send a PM on P411, followed by one on ECCIE and/or a text.

Just a note on that. I also don't like to jump through hoops to get a number, if a listing doesn't include a phone number I usually pass it up! But that's just me!
