NOW P411 has taken down the provider AD BOARD

I was wondering what provider's and clients think about this? Maybe if we could get some input from the client's and provider's prospective P411 might change there mind.

I for one enjoy being able to look at the ad's on P411 and see who's available each day. I think it was a good way along with ECCIE to see who's available and if they are running any specials or have any visiting provider's in or coming to Houston from other area's. I think it's a real disservice to both clients and provider's who pay for the services for as little as we are now getting from P411. I also understand that it's an easy way to screen for the provider's who advertise there. It' worked really well before using ECCIE and P411 in conjunction with each other when doing research.

My rant is over for now. So let's get our opinions out there and maybe they will reinstate the P411 ad board for all PAYING MEMBERS to utilize.

I'm debating whether to renew my P4 account when it comes due.
Their excuse is that they don't have enough man power to operate the ad board, it's surprising that they use that as an excuse with the membership fee costing almost as much as a session with a provider! I'd say with our fees, the advertisements of other sites, and who knows how much the fees from the providers pay, combined would allow enough income to pay for the man power, but that's my opinion! Maybe it's harder than most think and also cost more to operate a site like that one! I only join the argument because I also enjoyed the p411 ad board mainly because some of the providers on their don't post or aren't available here on Eccie!!

Why would I give a fuck about another ad board?

And why in Tebow's name are you guys paying for yearly memberships that need to be renewed?

Yeah, I found out this morning when I went to post my ad. Gina says they don't have enough resources to review the ads for inappropriate terms now that the laws have changed.

Our home profile is bumped up every time we sign in, so that's about the only way of keeping the our primary ad/profile viewable and current. I believe many will be signing in and out all day long now, lol.

I don't have to pay for the privilege of having my profile there, but if I did I would be really disappointed. Personally, I think they could have at least gone to weekly ad postings before just shutting the whole thing down completely.

I never used that part of the site so it doesn't matter at all to me...

I don't use P4 for ads use ECCIE for the ad part. I use to send PM to gal I want to see, to show I am verified. Normally get very quick response.

So only problem is when girl is not on ECCIE.

I do it Wakeup cause I want to!

I seen it this morning, I really liked the p411 ad board. I could post my schedule for that day. I hope they put it back soon.

Hookers already have enough places to place ads...
I think it is ridiculous considering the cost of membership. I had heard that provider's must pay for the ads and even pay extra for certain enhancements to their profile (I.e. Rotating pictures and highlighted ads). My guess, they have reached a determined set revenue stream and are happy. That site could be a cash cow, but if it gets too big then risk of getting on the LE radar likely go way up.

Overall, P411 is a means of verification that seems to work. I would not be hobbying today if it wasn't for that site since I refuse to see providers I am not attracted to just to get a reference.

The only feature I like best about the P411 ads was the photo of the provider to the left of the ad. Made it convenient for me to sift through to the ones that sparked my interest.

But the question is irrelevant. I don't give a shit about the ad forums on ECCIE either.
P411 sucks period & its all about the money providers have to pay for things on the board as well

Provider accounts and their Home Listings are completely FREE. If they wish to upgrade their ads, they are welcome to do so but it's not necessary and at least 95% do not.

If you re-read that message (on P411), it actually says we will be happy to refund the points sent on Ad Boards posts from April 13th. Please just contact the P411 support and they'll be happy to help.

I'm not happy about this, but it had to be done. I'm not willing to hire someone off the street and give them access to the admin area of P411 to monitor the ads, and I simply cannot spend any more time doing it myself, sorry.

As someone mentioned, I have a friend who is working to build a site that will fill the void created by the recent changes to P411. This will allow us to focus on what is most important to us, which is being a verification service.
