I am in Metairie today and trying to figure out where to eat anyone got any good places for me to eat..
Here are some places that I like around Metairie/Kenner. You can Google the addresses.

1. Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop
2. Churra's Brazilian Grill - Kenner
3. Drago's Seafood Restaurant
4. Little Tokyo Restaurant
5. Vincent's Italian Cuisine
6. Caretta's Grill
7. Byblo's Restaurant - Old Metairie
8. Siamese
9. Korea House
10. Corner Cafe.

Good luck. I hope you will find something that you like from this list.

I've been having a craving for Thai food lately and Cafe Equator has been almost a weekly visit for me. It's on Severn next to Lakeside Mall. Also Dat Dog just recently opened up in the food court of Lakeside Mall

If you're near Causeway there area several places on Severn and a food court in the mall. P.F. Chang's in the mall. Lager's has pretty good bar food. Outback Steakhouse and VooDoo BBQ on I-10 side of Veterans on Severn. Some other Asian/Sushi buffet place and Buffalo Wild Wings there as well.

Houston's closer to Clearview and Saki Cafe for sushi. Zea Rotisserie, Semolina and Twin Peaks at Clearview Mall.

Korea House always has its fans & I'm one of them as well. I would substitute "Acme" on Veteran's for "Drago's" which someone put in his post--I think Drago's is overpriced & believes their own hype too much (so does Acme but I think the food is better).

I love Lebanese food: Albasha is a good local chain & there's one just behind Lakeside Mall.

Now: DON'T BE MAD IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT--and I should probably know better than to recommend a Mexican place in NOLA to a Hispanic girl FROM TEXAS, BUUUTTT: some girls visiting from California told me the Taqueria Sanchez off the Clearview I-10 service road behind the Super 8 & Sun Suites was actually good. If you're out in Kenner, Pollo Compero on Wms. between Veteran's & I-10 is also good.
+100 on Vincent's.
Mmm so many now to Google to pick one I'm excited I love the food here so good..mmm

I'm sorry to hear it sweetheart. Although I prefer Deanie's to either Drago's or Acme, all usually have perfectly good char-grilled (then again so does my neighborhood spot down the street).

Across the street from Drago’s is Crazy Johnnie’s. Not fancy but I like it.

Crazy Johnnie's has been closed for a while now hasn't it?
