Is it a bit of a dick move to give a no on a review special? Yes Originally Posted by Miss ScarletSo you believe that a guy getting a discount or something extra loses the right to write an honest review and has an obligation to present inaccurate information?
A review is just another form of advertisement. A review special is simple. The client has something I want, a favorable review, and I have something he wants, services for a discounted rate. So yes its implied that for the services provided, kind words are an exchange.Reviews are accurate and informative?? You know why they don't let us read ours? Because we'd go "wow, half that shit never happened." Reviews are subjectiv, a client might write a favorable review because he feels sorry for the girl, or because she's sweet even if not a good provider. Bias runs rampant in the review forum, providers can be made or broken by good/bad reviews, whether they're true or not! So if a man can use a review to his advantage, why can't I?

That's a new twist. I'd always heard that the purpose of the review forum is so other mongers can make an informed decision about who to hire based upon accurate info. Originally Posted by Miss Scarlet

Offering a review special is a suggestion for a favorable review, and if the client isn't aware of that deal when he makes it, then he shouldn't be making it. It's another one of those unwritten rules. Review special is what it is. For clients, it can be an opportunity to see a girl they normally wouldn't. For girls, it can be a great way to boost business. If self promotion is a sin on this board, then we're all on our way to burning in hell.
Plus there is a whole other side to this. There are gentlemen that take advantage of a reviewer special for the rates and then never pay up on their end. Misconduct is not exclusive to one gender. Originally Posted by Miss Scarlet

My last yes review was about as objective and straight forward as they come. No one reading the ROS would ever say it was embellished upon or even flattering in any way.
I suppose my real question would be "Is there even any reason to bother reading a "Review Special" when it's basically a paid ad?" Originally Posted by Windinhishair

So, only "brutally honest" reviews and those "not flattering in any way" can possibly be honest? If your "yes" reviews are "not flattering in any way", then one must seriously question your research skills or your decision process. Why is it there are some guys who immediately respond to a negative review with, "thanks for the HONEST review". How often have you seen this people ever comment that a positive review is honest? It makes one wonder why some guys see escorts at all if they have already convinced themselves that all positive sessions are fictitious.
But the other reason your post is both myopic and insulting is you are accusing every single man of being able to be bought for $50 or so. That any guy will become intrinsically dishonest if a small number of dollars are waved in front of him. Makes me wonder how honest you see yourself if that is how you see everyone else.
One of the few poor experiences I had was years ago and I wrote an honest review that basically said she was absolutely gorgeous (which she was) but clearly would rather have been anywhere else other than with me. She contacted me and offered me a significant discount to see her and write another review. I did, and I did, and I said she was the same, still not worth it at the half-price.
I really wonder: in your suspicious view of all men's honesty, why would you ever believe any positive review? After all, since a discount price inherently makes men dishonest, wouldn't they just omit the fact that it was a review special? So I guess you need to skip over all reviews.
