Will California Lose the Porn Industry?

Yep, it's going to completely move away if that gets passed.

LOL!!!! I guess Vivid will have to have a "Safety" guy. "When giving a blowjob, make sure to use the proper PPE."

I just watched a documentary called Hot Girls Wanted on netflix. It was about the amateur porn business and Miami is the fastest growing state to shoot porn because they do not require condoms. Unfortunately these young 18year old girls get totally taken advantage of. They all want to be the next Jenna Jameson, and that just doesn't happen anymore. To much free content online. Also more than 40% of the content is very extreme and violent. So girls are having to do more and more extreme sex acts to compete. I wish girls would wise up and realize they could control more of the business and content thats put out, instead of pervy old men.

Lilyisis, I saw that documentary you mentioned was on Netflix but I haven't watched it yet. A kind-of religious guy I work with was talking about the billions and billions the porn industry makes. I told him I don't have any numbers, but I can't imagine the porn industry is making even as much as they were making 10-15 years ago. Why buy DVDs, magazines, or online memberships to webpages when you can go to Youporn, or hundreds of other similar sites, and jerk off for free. You don't get the "exclusive content" but if you get a 15 min. version of a video for free or pay, I don't know, $40 for the 39 minute version, most guys will go with the free version. There just CAN'T be the money out there in porn anymore that they used to have.

Some state is going to woe the porn industry to move there because of the regulations in California and they don't have it.
They don't make the real money from movies anymore. The money comes from the advertisement on the website that dish out the free clips.
