RIP - BB... I guess "The Thrill is Gone"

Well Played Coast_Encounter... B.B.King's reign as 'King of the Blues',
had been as long as that of any monarch on earth.
Yet B.B.King continued to wear his crown well. Until he passed at age 89,
he was light on his feet, singing and playing the Blues with relentless passion!!!
I was a student at Southern Mississippi in 1969, away from home & no car. The Thrill is Gone came out and I truly knew what the Blues were. This song introduced me to the Blues; will never forget it!!
There is nothing else better than delta blues, I hope you're showing them how it's done up in heaven, Mr King. Rest in peace.

Time had no apparent effect on B.B.... other than to make him more Popular, more Cherished, more Relevant than ever.
He NEVER Retired... he was out on the road until his death playing for people,
and laying down tracks for his next album.
B.B.King's music will live on forever, and a grateful world will never get enough of him.

You have to experience life in order to have the heart for blues. B.B. King did that and more. Rest in Peace

I believe the good Lord knew he was exhausted and brought him on Home.

I was fortunate to have seen him live three times. I cried the morning he died.
