Pity, not a chance I can make it ... and I might have been able to even find a date, I mean designated driver for the night - or just stay at the St. Regis lol. That is the stuff they brought to WhiskeyFest in NY in November.

May I taste Ansley, please, instead of the cigar?

I'm not sure I know what all this 12 and 15 year old stuff is. Is that like a "born on" date?

Keep it on Scotch and there will be no problems.

Not a born on date. Most scotch's are not listed with a year. So 12 year old would mean aged in casks for 12 years before being bottled. Some scotch's do come with a "born on date"; for example a 1919 50 y.o. Sprinkbank would have been distilled in 1919 and bottled in 1969. If anyone really wants to buy me a gift the one remaining bottle for sale publicly is priced at 55,000 British Pounds. Send me a PM and I'll send you the link

Good news that it is Glenlivet instead of Glenfiddich (think not the deer). Bad news is it's not Uskquebaugh and I heard that Ansley cut her hair.
