Another Local BP Bust

Interesting that "the man" was charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution (pimping) but no mention of any charges for the ladies.

What is strange is this isn't the first bust there. Do you remember the "new concept people" last summer?
When its aggravated that means there was some level of force or intimidation in the promotion. Omg these apartments are in my area. Apartments are cheaper butttt the nosey neigbors coupled with the fact that since doors are outside it blatantly obvios the traffic is yourssss. Oh no,not discreet at all. SMMFH
Interesting. Know where that is. He doesn't look like the stereotypical "pimp".

I have a truck with an unworkable front seat but a doable backseat. Still, just logistically awkward.

I don't see how they could arrest him. He only charge for an introduction. Unless he opened his mouth, they have nothing on him. Unless he thinks he is so smart that he can talk to the police, he walks.

Aggravated only means there was more than 1 girl involved.

Sec. 43.04. AGGRAVATED PROMOTION OF PROSTITUTION. (a) A person commits an offense if he knowingly owns, invests in, finances, controls, supervises, or manages a prostitution enterprise that uses two or more prostitutes.

But I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV

Of course, the LEO should have probable cause (if not an actual warrant, but that is a different circumstance).

Where the arrest goes (after transport to the calaboose) is up to the prosecution and the judge.

In certain instances, an arrest may result in zero prosecution, if the prosecutor decides that the facts presented won't support the charge. Case may then be dismissed.

However, the arrested person has still undergone jail house processing, including fingerprinting and photography, a likely initial court appearance, bail setting and bonding out, and innumerable other expenses and inconveniences, some of which may become very public (think media coverage) depending on the arrested person's notoriety or celebrity or public standing.

Key to avoiding any of the above is:

Do not be any where the LEOs can get the drop on you. Which is why screening and vouching is so vital in the hobby -- perhaps more so for the ladies, of course, but equally important for the dudes with "too much to lose."

Chapter and verse if you do the research.

Letting the little head overcome big head thoughts and gut instincts can often get one into a lot of trouble.
