Hotels that rent for the day

Sorry,
Dumb question... Any decent hotels around that will rent a room for a day, no overnight?
Closer to downtown or airport would be ideal.

Thanks!
Most hotels have check out around 11 AM. I'm pretty sure that they will rent you an open room (if any are available) even before that. So, if you walked into a hotel around 10 AM and got a room, you could stay until 11 AM the next day. You don't have to stay until then. If you don't need a receipt, you could just leave any time. If you do, just tell the front desk that you have to leave early. Most decent places are going to ask for a credit card for incidentals, if that matters to you.

I once checked into a hotel in the morning to take a shower. I had a business meeting and had been driving since the middle of the night. When I checked out, the person at the desk said they could've rented me the room for a partial day or something like that. He said it would've been cheaper. I guess I should've asked.
I had a female friend mention her and some girlfriends rented a room for a legitimate daytime gathering. A purse party or whatever women meet for.
She said it was a day rate and usually 4 hours or so.
I also know businesses will sometimes rent rooms for legitimate interviews or to perform some sort of contract signing.
Guess you would have to ask, but then would have to be discrete when Ms. Ho shows up. Alot are known by hotel staff.
