I've got a feeling this one is gonna sting a bit... not only from MLB, but from the FBI as well....

Federal charges are going to sting no doubt

Jim Crane called the FBI? See if new commish has balls to discipline the birds.

I don't think the new commish has the balls to do anything.

I don't think he can afford to NOT do something. This is a HUGE invasion of a competitor and as far as sports go it's equivalent to stealing the entire R&D, corporate strategy and corporate secrets.

Someone is for sure headed to the fed lock up.

This is Marion Barry all over again! The Redbirds were Mayor Barry and Albert Pujols was the hooker that set us up. I heard Matheny say "Bitch Pujols set us up!"

I personally feel the the feds have better things to do than fuck with sports and pro athletes.
That being said, fuck the redbirds!!!
This is going to be interesting .... I bet when it comes to the nut cutting, it is going to be a low level employee, that cleans the showers, or something like it.... ( the tech savy hacker bat boy)

Why the Astros?

Love the Stros, but what would the Redbirds want with their data.
Unless it was some personal vendetta.

I suspect they wanted the program itself........as well as the data on the Astros Farm Program

You're forgetting that he took that program from the Cardinals when he left...and used the same login and password to access it when he started using it at the Astros...

Was he going to answer honestly when we asked him, "Hey Jeff, when you left us, did you take any proprietary information with you?"

Like we used to say in the Army, "there's only one thief in the Army. Everyone else is just trying to get their shit back."

I have no problem with what they did. Now that they've been caught, they pay whatever price is necessary. Just like anyone else.

Are we forgetting, or was it the program he invented while there?

If it was proprietary in any sense to that regards there are other, legal, methods they could have employed. Formal complaints and investigations not only get what you want, but in shaming the other front office and franchise.

As it is now it just looks like spur grapes and wreaks of desperation.

Not only that, but this is the 2nd time the Astros have had their "top secret" shit hacked into/exposed. Someone in the IT department need to be fucking fired, that's for sure!

Oh no, he invented the program interface while he was there, no one disputes that. We don't care that he took the program with him. But anyone who doubts that he took the contents of the database that program used when he left is either a fool, or doesn't know Lunhow...he's the Belichick of MLB...extremely talented, but the world's biggest prick. That's what they were looking for...

I'm not worried about the image of the Cardinals...it'll be fine. The public has a very short memory. Besides, I'd rather be the Patriots and win championships than be the Rams, and not...

P.S.-There's no desperation when you're 43-21...we don't need the Astros farm prospect info...
