KC Trip Canceled

Sorry for the short notice, but I'm forced to cancel my trip.

Garage door broke at 5pm and I've been dealing with my auto repair shop trying to get the heater hose and fan replaced. No one had the damn hose in stock and they can't get it until Weds morning. Sorry, but I'm not driving around in 5 degree weather with no heat.

For those who had scheduled with me, I will honor your requests and give a wonderful discount after the new year.

Yeah, I wasn't happy when I started up the car yesterday morning. Then the garage door? Usually my Mondays go pretty good, but not this one. Although I am glad it happened before I had left town and not while I was in KC. That drive home would've been horrid.

MsElana, I hope things turn around for you. You have heard the old saying, "everything comes in threes" though?

Its not that bad really, just an inconvenience. Things could be worse, trust me. I'm just grateful for what I have, who I have in my life and my health. There's a lot of people out there that have it a lot worse than I do.

Well, the garage door is fixed. It was a couple of the springs and the main lock on the door. Now, I'm just waiting to pick up my lil baby (car) tomorrow and I'll be set.

As cold as it's been I'm guessing it was the torsion spring? Whatever you do, let the pros handle it. Those springs have been known to kill people.
