Ads like this always makes me wonder ....? Is that the providers choice or the pimps need for a more rob-able client?

I stopped wondering or getting pissed off about these a while back.

If they don't want to see me based on the color of my skin, (which is more of a light brown than black btw); it's their loss.

As to your main question, being in New Orleans, she could just be thinking that using the exclusion will cut down on her drama. Seems like there is no shortage of that anywhere.

I have also learned not to stress out or over analyze why someone who has never met me has a problem with seeing me. I simply move on to someone who'll appreciate my time and $$. I pretty much know who the NBA ladies on BP are so i don't bother reading their ads and the ladies who express that preference here on the board just get put on ignore and I'm sure their lives and mine are all the better for it.
I personally am a fan of black men and have no problem seeing them or men of any other color for that matter.
@ jahiara........but no Greek......grrrrrrrrr such a tease .......lol .........I was just saying I never hear about the blk clients being robbed .....thought some of the ads may of been a ploy to get more robber friendly clients
Even if I did do greek with a name like MrBig you dont make the thought too appealing lol...

No matter how wrong it may be. Black men are PERCEIVED as scarier. Look at how they are portrayed on TV or how the idiot rappers portray themselves to the world.

Scary, drug dealing, murderous, non feeling, irrational thugs.

Society is still very segregated even now so media portrayal affects what alot of people think about other races subconsciously because that is the only way we really see other races.

Think about it. Who lives in the french quarter? what demographic? Now ask the same question about the lower 9th ward.

For some people all they know is what the TV tells them about other people, races and cultures.

If the media conditions you to think that way that is all you know.

The media conditions you to see white men as Mr Rogers and black men as Tupac or Nino Brown.

If you had to chose which one would you rob? Mr Rogers right.

I think thats all he meant by "Robber Friendly" hun it wasnt meant to be taken that literally.

It just shows you that, even the hobby isn't immune from racism and stereotyping....but, hey it's a free country...
I only go with providers who like green or visa. Merry Christmas.

I know I discriminate when picking a provider. I will only see females, I will only be with ladies that I find attractive, I will only see providers that give the services I desire, and I discriminate by age as well, I will only see ladies under 50ish (this can be broken but only if I chose to). I guess I am prejudice and after writing this seems I am selfish too.

Seriously, anyone who discriminates in her ads like this is just cutting off a large market share... dumb asses IMHO.

I used to be turned off by the nba providers, but these days I just think it's their loss and not mine.
