Getting a TX concealed carry permit with DUIs(not a felon)

How much of a criminal history can you have and get a concealed carry permit?

I have a few DUIs but no felonies. Again, no felonies, no drugs, no violence. My last DUI was in Kentucky in 2010. Had four other DUI arrests in Ohio between 1998 and 2007. I also have a conviction for "loitering for prostitution" in 2009 in Ohio, and an arrest for underage drinking when I was 20.

I guess in Florida you have send them papers(like the FBI doesnt have a computer?)

I could be wrong

However if you are carrying while drunk, then they take it away for 10 years
There are certain circumstances where one is never allowed a concealed carry license

Understand, a while back, someone who had a concealed weapon shot and killed a provider that did the cash and dash routine, while the shooter was found not guilty and got his cash back, the legal bills must have cost him $50,000. He should have let that provider go.

Just ask any class that offers the training

Oh wow. Laws have changed. Texas and Ohio now have reciprocity. An Ohio gun permit is now even better than a Florida permit.

Looks like Im going back up north!
10 years from the last conviction, unless they determine you're a "chemically dependent person " then the answer is no.
