Review Specials

Although I am not new to the hobby, I am new to review specials. I have never offered a review special until recently here in SA after I read a provider's thread about touring. My question is this:
How long should a lady wait for a review to be posted after she offers a review special appointment?

Very good topic.

This appears to be an honor system process. This should be discussed by both parties before any activities occur IMHO.

As for me, a minimum of 3 days should be the time frame. But how should a lady react if the guy doesn't do a review on a timely basis?

I know of a friend who saw a lady and she had him do the review on the spot on his phone right after the session. That's not cool in my book but if he agreed it would be his deal.

I suppose she could flag him in the ladies powder room or at least send him a private reminder as to honoring his commitment or find out what the delay was.

Anyways it's a great way to make new friends and opportunities especially if the lady is brand new to the scene.

It really depends.

If you are a traveler and you give a review special, timing is of essence, so the gent should agree on writing that review within the day he's seen you.

If you are local, I believe that being clear is always best. When you two agree on a review special, let the gent know how soon you would expect it to be posted, ask him to let you know if that is a reasonable amount of time, then I would suggest follow up the visit with a PM thanking him for the visit and reminding him of the agreed "deadline" of the review as you may have left him a bit weak on the knees and hard to remember anything you guys may have agreed on.

I would say a week is a good amount of time on a review special for a local lady.

Hope this helps!

Yes! Thank you both. This info is really helpful and greatly appreciated.
A good idea too is to advertise a limited number of review specials available each week/month as you don't need a bunch of reviews coming out at once so you can discount only the minimum number of appts necessary to drum up business.
So if we did offer a review special and they didn't keep up at their end, what's the next step. Still kind of a newbie at this!

1. Only offer a review special to gents who have a history of writing reviews
2. Gently reminding him to write it after the time agreed upon has passed (most gents are not maliciously dodging it, they just get busy)
3. Some ladies offer review discount on a follow up visit. In this case, the gent sees you, writes review, then receives discount on a second visit. This may or may not be a very good strategy. It works best for both parties IF you are a person of your word AND when you offer a significant discount.

If all fails, you can let other ladies know about it, but to be very blunt, I think it is very unlikely that the episode alone will deter others from seeing him.

One thing to consider... He may have decided not to write a "no" review... But that's something a simple, polite PM will clear up.
Thank you for the great tips!
How about offering a special to those that have posted a positive review within 30 of your encounter.

Clients get PA access credit, and you get repeat customers. Win-win.

Small Claims Court.

I used to write my reviews within hours of seeing a gal. This year I've been bad about remembering to write them.

My last review was in January and I have reviews to write for a few Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio gals.

Ride their ass to remind them to write the review.
Simon, Von and Camille.... Ty. Your perspectives and thoughts on this topic have helped immensely!!!

I always try to post a review SOON. If I See a traveler I post the same day. Like others mentioned, it's an honor system.
I fucked up the post below.

OP...a review within 48 hours is reasonable. It also allows for better recollection of the activities and events. It is an honor system the way these specials are applied by most providers: honor it up front and expect the hobbyist to follow through.

Some good ideas were posited about establishing a time frame...in VS's case you would need to reach out and slap him on the back side of the head to get it completed...at least this year you would.

SimonRiley...I thought 30 minutes was a pretty damn tight deadline...I was beginning to think you were the editor of the NY Times. Though if it were possible to get a 50% discount I would write it before the session and edit while in the middle of...LOL.
