Love, Peace and Chickengrease ...

It has been an interesting ride lurking from a distance and throwing in my $0.25 every now and then. I understand the nature of this business but it seems like the days of civility, courteousness and respect for one another are long gone.

Not disillusioned in the least but more and more it seems that these interactions are solely about 'the benjamins' or bustin a nut instead of connecting with someone who doesn't share the same sexual hangups prevalent in modern society.

A special shout out to CK1942 and ShysterJon for being a class acts and always answering my PMs in a timely manner and with accurate information.

Best of luck to you all and as the Hill Street Blues Sgt used to say at the end of the shift brief, "Let's be careful out there!"

Long live the memories of ASPD and Magic Moments!!!!
You may want to try your luck with Tinder, Plenty of Fish, Ashley Madison (oh wait, bad idea), etc.

Interactions with hookers is always about the Benjamins and busting a nut. If it isn't for you, then you are being delusional.

Hookers have sex for money (or don't have sex for money, your choice). This is their livelyhood. You like to bust a nut (or talk to them, because no one else cares enough about you to listen).
  • The smart hookers will act as though they give a shit about you while you are on the clock.
  • The smart hookers with good business acumen will follow up on you, because you are a good source of income (so long as you are a regular customer).
I'm not saying that people can't build friendships, but those can be problematic if you (or her) have a seperate life outside of the hobby. If you want that kind of a friendship, then get a girlfriend (or have an affair... oh wait, those are also problematic for the same reasons as getting a hooker).

If you have to talk to someone, then get a therapist. Perhaps then you'll be able to figure out why you like paying for prostitutes and why you feel so rejected.

I have no perspective on manners and motives here. I pretty much stick with the three forums that relate to my functions here, and I haven't hobbied for years. But unlike most members, I'm well aware there's a seamy, hidden underbelly to The Hobby, much like the swarming soil beneath the grass in 'Blue Velvet.'

Fair winds and following seas, shipmate.

Best of luck in your next "chapter."
