Planning a trip to Texarkana and Tyler

Just curious and wondering what are good hotels to use in Texarkana and Tyler. Also, which place is better Monday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Friday?

In Tyler anything in the south of town is your best bet.

I strongly agree with JohnnyEast. South Tyler ... south of Loop 323 off of Broadway/Hwy 69 South. There are also a few good hotels in Lindale (I-20/Hwy 69 North).

Stay away from any hotel with an address that is in North Tyler (North Loop 323/Hwy 69 North). This area is know as the 4 Corners ... high drug & crime area. Also an area of lower back page traffic. This area is high on LE's radar.
