What are the good areas to stay in?
What restaurants do you recommend?
Is Springfield a good place to tour?

Best place to stay is on the Southside. I would avoid Northside especially the North Glenstone area it is frequented by LE more often. As for places to eat, Dallas is right Ziggy's and Braums are both excellent choices. As for shopping you could go over to Bass Pro.
